4 Week Weight Loss Update

4 Weeks after baby and I'm down from 180 to 145...and sadly I've been holding steady at 145 for almost a week. So I think that means the water weight is gone and I have to work off the rest. But that's okay. It could've been worse. So...15 lbs to go till I'm satisfied, 20 to go till I'm super satisfied!

I wanted to post a picture - but my hubby is out of town and my 2 year old can't really work the camera too well...so it'll have to wait till next week. Maybe I'll get one up on Saturday.

2 more weeks till I can workout!! Super excited. I really want to try Zumba finally - but I doubt I'll be making it to a class anytime soon. So...any recommendations for a good zumba dvd? Or any other good post baby workouts?

  1. I got the zumba dvds from zumba.com for Christmas and I love them. You don't quite get the same energy level that you get in the class but they're fun and they still give me a good workout. Plus they use a lot of the same moves as they do in the class so it might be nice to learn some of them first so if you go to the class you might not feel as lost. They're a little pricey though but it comes with 4 dvds, a diet book with recipes and toning sticks.

  2. I really enjoy Mom and me yoga. It's a yoga/pilates video you can do with your baby. so fun!

  3. You want to know what's REALLY frustrating??? I don't think I ever gain water weight when I'm pregnant. In fact, once I give birth, I usually GAIN an extra five lbs!! Keep up the awesome work, Barbara!

  4. Wow that is an awesome amount of weight loss!!! Good job!

My plan is to do Lindsay Brin's Moms Into Fitness DVDs. If you watch Babysteals, they are on there every 4-6 months, but I love her and the work outs are all pretty short, nice for moms who just don't have an hour a day to work out. Here is the web address - http://www.momsintofitness.com/. I plan on doing the 60 day slim down that comes with a meal plan. Hope this helps!
